Project: Residence of Mr. Subramani at Whitefield, Bangalore

Design dealt: Architectural

Area: Site area – 4540 sq. ft         Built-up area – 5400 sq. ft

Theme:  It was a house in a semi urban locale for a family which had a small town grooming and lifestyle. The architecture reflected wherein the rusticity of a countryside living in its and material used. Many forms of arches were experimented in the building which became the intrinsic design element of the whole house. The basic functional requirements were met with the only inclusion of a separate home theatre and a semi covered gym. The fore sitting area in the verandah (jagali of the countryside) along with many elaborate balconies and jharokas and sky lights in the right orientation of north and east was one another aspect which added value to the quality of light and efficiency in use of natural light and ventilation.
